I know, enough with the instagram pics already. Sorry.... but it's the best I've got. Remember my hard drive crashed and I lost everything? Same thing has happened to Em at The Beetle Shack. I've got my fingers crossed for you, Em - hopefully not all is lost.

...thank God for camera phones. I was flicking through and came across these photos I took of our old apartment in Sydney. It was a converted warehouse and we loved it. Unfortunately, we had to sell when we moved up here. We'd never be able to afford to buy it back again. I fell pregnant in that home. Our first home. Although I love our sprawling house here in Townsville, that Sydney shoebox will always hold a special place in my heart.

It looks like a wonderful shoebox. I'd swap for a bit of that right now in exchange for the sleepy countryside. How strange, I've just posted some camera app photos too! :)

Wow! Beautiful spaces you have (had) there! I can't imagine losing all those files! I am always knocking on wood that my computer will fire up each day.... I'm with Em--I wanna see your current space...

Funny, I was just chatting with a friend of mine about scanning in some pix of my old apartment... and how hilarious it would be to share them online... she has fonder memories of that place than I do.... maybe one day...

What a gorgeous home. I love ALL of it! Espesh that work space. How cool is your magazine rack?! And the rug. Please tell me you still have the rug. I have the 'Balinese Lady', the only Tretchikoff picture I brought with us to Germany. xx

you make me jealous. in a good way. we conceived che in a beach shack shoe box. rather romantic until i realised that storage is rather essential when you become a parent. x
