I think this is what they mean by the term "active baby".

Oh, and two things really need to be excused here...
1. My rather silly and embarrassing 'Lalie voice'. (Come on Mum's, you all do it. And Mum's to be - so will you).
2. The CRAPTACULAR quality of this video. As you can probably tell, this is my first time editing moving pictures.

  1. Yes, I had MAJOR issues uploading this. So if you've seen about five different versions of this post go up and then be deleted...sorry! Now it's nearly 1am and I have been doing this stupid movie for the last four hours!! I'm off to bed now... nite x

  3. :) i love the tub splashing clip. my niece is active like lalie, never a dull moment. i hope our little one is able to bring it down a couple notches but if not i'm sure we will have great adventures!

  4. Oh how cute! Violet watched on with interest too. She is very active, isn't she? Though Violet loves to do the kicky leg thing, she would never do it in the bath - she hates her baths. I think you have a little water baby there :)

  5. That is adorable and hilarious. I love the bath seat, we have a similar one and it makes me much less nervous bathing Eve.

  7. @ Tania & Kellie - I love that the kids are enjoying watching this. kids are just fascinated by other kids, aren't they? I'm noticing that so much with 'Yayie' at the moment. It's so cute x

  8. Haha, love it! Brings back memories, my daughter was just like this! I think I have a video of the bath splashing too, I'll have to look in the archives I think. For 2 years we rented a house with no bath, so the kids bathed in a big plastic tub, you know the sort you store stuff in? Looking back it's hilarious to see a baby and a 2 year old splashing around in a box!
So good to see you're back Claire, I missed your posts.

  9. Gosh this is hilarious. What an absolutely gorgeous bubba you have there and that giggle is very contagious. I have three kids...all very active but our third...she is so much like your little girl. Even dancing to music as well. Enjoy fun times with her. Just discovered your blog and it is lovely and one of my faves...cassie

  11. Hey Claudia - that's pretty much all it is - a blow up pink thing with balls in it. I got it really cheap at KMart. Hours of fun... and in summer would make a cute splashing pool. xx

  14. I think I have a similarly 'active baby' in my belly! It certainly feels that way lately :)

Lalie seems like quite the charmer. I can't get over how cute her giggle is....oh Claire, it's making me desperate to meet my own little one!

  16. Very similar to my 7 month old! Nice to know he's not the only one with such energy. Makes me a little nervous though about the crawling and walking times ahead...

  19. She is too cute! My 8 month old girl is also an active little one. I find it so hard to get good photo's of her because she NEVER sits still!
