Some recent op shop finds. Don't they look cute together? There's a real 70's-80's boho vibe going on here! You really can't ever have too many little denim dresses (Lalie will be a mini Alexa Chung in no time!), brown leather accessories,  and vintage kids books. And I'm a bit obsessed with that leaf dish!

Happy Weekend, folks!

P.S - So many encouraging and supportive comments on my last post, thank you. It's nice to see that so many of us share similar goals. It's not easy to break bad habits - I thought by writing it down and putting it out there, I'd trigger some action. If not, I guess that's going to be, well... just a tad awkward!

  1. Yes, that leaf dish is lovely!! Put some cute rings in it, or candies, or nuts, or soap... or send it to me and I'll do that. ;) Good thrifty score.

  12. Nice one! That bag is tops, great colour. Now you just need to find an Alexa Chung dress in your size! (I found a denim one recently and plan to channel my chungness when the weather cools...)

PS. Also wanted to say about the last post – good on you. Writing plans like this is such a great step. Chris has really encouraged me to do it and it helps. Parenthood is such a good time to rethink our own habits. I've been thinking a lot about consumerism lately, but haven't quite worked it out enough to write the words.

(gosh, sorry. i'm rambling now!) xxx

  17. We decided to live a slower more thoughtful way of life, so took on an allotment and are pretty much veggie self sufficient during the summer months. We love it...she (the allotment) is part of our soul now. ... go for it Claire. As for the vintage goodness! Also loving that dish, I can see hands cupping it. Delicious bag too x
