We'll be in America for Halloween this year, which is fun because it's a huge holiday for them. I'm working on styling up a bit of an Alice in Wonderland costume for Lalie... this vintage apron dress borrowed from my Sister in Law is kinda perfect when you add a make shift pinny-style top cut from an old blouse......but I'm not convinced Lalie's really nailing the Alice character, what with the devilishly cheeky attitude and double finger suck / nose pick combo. Maybe an Alice band will help? Wish us luck!
So cute!
ReplyDeleteI love Halloween...I have been working on Toddler C's costume...he is going to be a dinosaur!
Trick or treat!
Good luck! I think an untamed Alice is in character anyway.
ReplyDeleteI think she needs a black velvet hair band as well.
ReplyDeleteLovely Lalie as Alice, oh what adventures she'll have!
oh it's wonderful! But I have one question....what are YOU dressing up as? x
ReplyDeleteHaha, she is SO cute! I think she's got the Alice part down pat. She's got spunk and personality and that wee dress and Mary Jane's are just perfecto! Have fun :) xo
ReplyDeletewhat a cute little alice! she looks so adorible!
ReplyDeletehalloween IS a bit deal here in america ;) glad you're here to visit. she may not fit the name, but she certainly looks adorable.
ReplyDeleteOh so fun! And she is old enough to hold a pail and walk door to door for treats! I bought river a buffalo plaid hat and I think I will dress him as a little lumberjack to help me pass out candy and visit the grandparents. Next year he will be old enough to really join in and take part in a few sweets. Your family is able to take part in a couple holidays here! Can't wait to see your photos.
