home

Hello... we're back! We have had the most unbelievable holiday! I still can't really quite believe that it's over... but we are so happy to be home.

I'm completely jet lagged and can barely string a sentence together. I'll be back in a couple of days with, oh... you know, 'just a few' stories and pictures ;)

bridging the gap (between posts)

Hello... I hope you are all doing well! It's been a while between posts... apologies for my failures on the social media front. I had planned to blog and instagram more regularly... but each day is bursting at the seams with adventure, and navigating this town with a toddler (who is completely off her usual routine) can be challenging at times (hence the finger sucking in half of our holiday snaps).

Each night, my head hits the pillow, happy and exhausted from the days discoveries. There is no time or energy left for blogging. And if there was ever a time to be present, it is now.

We are having the time of our lives... there is so much I can't wait to share with you. I'll be back soon!

Take care, friends! :)

snow and the city

I'll always remember our first day in New York as the day that snowflakes danced outside the windows of a cozy Brooklyn apartment.

(As I type this, I hear snow ploughs clearing the blanket of snow from the street below...)

As we soak up the beauty of it all, our thoughts are with the hundreds of people in the surrounding regions who are without power and heating during this cold snap.

New York, I love you already.
