giving and receiving

The Autumn chill finally arrived overnight. Of course, we're still wearing sleeveless tops around the house, but it's a start.

I'm just popping in to let you know that I'm guest posting over at Typically Red today for my lovely bloggy friend Greer who is doing an amazing job of raising money for the Cancer Council. Pop over and have a squiz at her 'Very Bloggy Morning Tea' - there's some wonderful recipes, a giveaway and a string of guest bloggers chatting about all things tea, coffee and cake related. If you can spare a few dollars, please make sure to donate to this important cause right here.

I also wanted to tell you about the lovely new book that arrived on my door step yesterday. A couple of months ago, I made a small donation through a pozzible campaign to help stylist and author Pia Jane Bijkerk gather the funds to make her dream a reality. Little Treasures: Made by Hand is a beautifully presented collection of sentimental handmade keepsakes for baby. As a gift for my donation, I received two copies, one for me and one intended for a friend who is expecting her fist baby later in the year... it would make an absolutely beautiful gift for a new Mum.

I hope you have a lovely weekend. x
