sweet home

We arrived home tonight after two weeks of campervanning around Tasmania. We had such a wonderful time - I didn't really want it to end! Usually, by the end of a holiday I'm quite ready to return the comforts of home, but this time I could have easily stayed on for another couple of weeks.

The girls were superstars... I think Lalie really enjoyed the family time with no appointments, housekeeping, errands or work distracting us from just being in the moment, exploring and having fun.

It must be said, however, that it was absolute heaven to come home to a house that, in our absence, had been cleaned by the fairy godmother (aka my mother in law) and a kitchen that had been stocked with a fresh BBQ chook, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, milk and hot cross buns. Now all that needs to be done is the unpacking and about fourteen loads of washing!

I hope you've all been keeping well. I've got lots of photos to share over the next couple of weeks (and a bit of catching up to do with the 52 project!).

  6. Tell me more! Tassie has been on our hit list for at least a decade now. Was 2 weeks long enough? Did you go crazy in a campervan / motorhome with small people? I hear this is the best time weather wise. Yes?
